About me
Erin McCall-Peat

I graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Honours Degree in Physiotherapy in 2009 and completed my community service at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria where I gained experience in areas such as Neurological ICU, Orthopaedics and Neuromuscular skeletal conditions.
an unexpected detour...
In 2013 I was afforded the opportunity to fulfil a childhood dream and spent an incredible four years working at a world renowned game lodge in the Sabi Sands where my passion for people was further ignited.
For me the bush has always been the place into which I journey
and immerse myself when I feel the need and desire to reconnect
with what is most important to me.

"Nothing but breathing the air of Africa, and actually walking through it, can communicate the indescribable sensations."
William Burchell

I returned to Johannesburg in 2016 to continue my physiotherapy career.
I worked in a sport and orthopaedic outpatient setting for almost 5 years where I completed my post-graduate certification in
Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy in 2018.

In 2020 I attended a webinar on Oncology rehabilitation.
Having witnessed my aunt's incredible and inspiring fight against cancer and learning about how as a physiotherapist I could support patients through this journey I knew that this was the path I wanted to follow.

In 2021 I started my own practise to focus on my area of special interest and in 2022 completed courses in Oncology rehabilitation and certified as a Lymphoedema therapist.
